I can’t say enough good things about CE Commercial Kitchen Cleaning. They are simply the best. I was delighted to find them when searching for a company to perform a thorough deep clean of our heavily used church kitchen. They came right out and did a comprehensive evaluation of the kitchen and prepared a very competitive estimate for the work, which included all of the kitchen appliances – commercial stove, convection ovens, commercial refrigerator, freezer, walls, floors, prep tables, the hood- inside and on the roof- the works. Once we could find a spot on the schedule, they came out as planned, right on schedule, fully equipped and prepared to get straight to work. The work was expected to take up to 3 days, and fortunately, the weather cooperated, allowing them to complete everything in just 2 days.
Their experience is evident in their knowledge of how kitchens work. One of the principals is a former chef who has extensive knowledge of where the trouble spots are and how to get them sparkling clean. They showed me a few new tips about how to better clean and maintain specific equipment. Their work ethic and organization are fantastic- the job was left neat when they left at the end of the first day. Do yourself a favor and call on CE to clean for you. You won’t regret it.

Our church (University Park Church of the Brethren) bought a Vulcan 10 burner/2 oven stove a little over 2 years ago. It is used relatively infrequently but was not cleaned properly after each use. Consequently, the food was burned onto the surfaces and began to look like a mess. I tried cleaning it myself to no avail. I emailed Calamus Enterprises and explained our situation, and sent pictures of the stove/oven’s condition. I was contacted promptly via email after each inquiry and provided with a reasonable quote tailored to our situation. When we decided to have it done, we were scheduled within 3 days.

Mike Calamus and his assistant showed up precisely on time and began work. They finished on time and did an excellent job of cleanup afterwards. The stove was thoroughly steam-cleaned, top to bottom, and inside out, and its stainless steel surfaces were polished externally. During the cleaning process, Mike showed me the products to use for basic cleaning and demonstrated how to clean the various parts. We will certainly do a better job of basic cleaning ourselves, but intend to have Calamus return once a year to perform a refined cleaning and an extensive cleaning of all the cast iron works, which require significantly more expertise and expensive equipment. Calamus documented the cleaning process for their training and use, and offered it to us to demonstrate how to perform basic cleaning.
I highly recommend this company for its excellent service quality, timely responses, and integrity.
